Roselyn V. Torrellas

Roselyn Torrellas was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish. She and her family immigrated to the United States when she was a teenager. Roselyn lived one year in Miami, Florida before her family relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina. When Roselyn graduated from high school, her family was still in the process of obtaining legal status inside of the United States. Therefore, she was not able to attend university after graduation like some of her peers.

Roselyn knew she wanted to become a lawyer at a very young age. After high school graduation, she decided she wanted to pursue immigration law. Roselyn’s journey allows her to empathize with her clients while guiding them through the difficult and intricate nuances of immigration law.

Roselyn attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. After graduation, she worked full-time for an immigration attorney in Greensboro. It was at that time that she decided to pursue her law degree. She attended the evening program at North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham. Roselyn received her Juris Doctor in 2009.

In her free time, Roselyn likes to be outdoors as much as possible. She enjoys hiking, swimming or just having a relaxing day at the park with her daughter. Roselyn loves reading a good book and traveling outside of the United States at least once a year.

Roselyn helped thousands of people while working in Miami Florida, Denver Colorado, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, and Smithfield, North Carolina. Roselyn offers your community legal counsel in various areas of immigration law including: citizenship, adjustment of status, family petitions, DACA, asylum, and more. You can rest assured that Roselyn is and will be honest, professional, and organized while working with you.
